The « A Caen l’Europe » guided visit. A guided walking tour fo the town center is available for scool groups throughout the year and an educational booklet is offered to primary school children. In this guided visit, discover Caen’s twinned numerous towns in Europe. Starting with Germany, in 1962, even before the Adenauer agreement was signed by De Gaulle, Caen signed an agreement with Würzburg in Bavaria creating their first twin-town co-operation. Caen is also twinned with Portsmouth (England), Resita (Romania) et Ohrid (Republic of Macedonia).
